Farewell Indy Tour Day Day 6: Heritage Lake from a Boat

On Sunday I headed out to my parents' house so my dad could check up on my car and help me empty the antifreeze out of the windshield wiper fluid holder because I'm rather dumb sometimes and poured it in the wrong place. After we finished de-greasing my windshield wiper fluid container, my dad mentioned that we could go out on the boat, which I definitely wanted to do, so my mom, dad, sister, Winston, myself, and my mom's dog Coco headed down to the marina.

Winston had never been on a boat before and he was not excited to do so. He twisted away so hard he pulled himself out of his harness, so I had to pick him up and carry him onto the boat. He was nervous for about 5 minutes, but then got over it. We cruised around the lake for a while before my dad decided to let me fish. There were plenty of people out boating, waterskiing, and tubing and as a result the fish weren't biting because the water was so disturbed. As the weather turned cooler and some light rain began to fall, the lake cleared out and the fish came out to eat. I caught two blue gill and two bass, all in different parts of the lake.

This poor guy really got a hold of the hook, and his lip started bleeding.

It continued to get colder and we were all hungry so around eight we left the lake and got some tacos for dinner.
