For anyone who doesn't know, Portland is known as the City of Roses. The climate here is ideal for growing roses and there are several rose gardens in the city, as well as an abundance of roses in private gardens, growing around stop signs, and on the side of roads. Today, Darla and I went to the International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park, and it was beautiful.
