I fell in love with this Van Gogh painting the very first time I saw it. It was the first Van Gogh I had ever seen in person. Since then I've seen many more, but this one still holds the highest honor in my heart. Every time I go to see it I find something new to admire about it. The sheer amount of paint on it is staggering to me. I hope to own a print of it someday, but it has been tough to find one online at all, let alone one reasonably priced. I'm very sad that I won't be able to go see it whenever I want anymore, once I've moved to Portland.

| The roof of this building is my favorite detail of the entire painting. Amid so much vibrant, stacked, and mixed color it is smooth and monochromatic. |
